Located very near the Uganda Wildlife Authority Bwindi Mgahinga Conservation Area, Kisoro Visitor Information Office, Sawa Sawa Guest House is in the ideal location for enjoying all that this region of Uganda has to offer. Whether your plans include trekking the mountain gorillas, Volcanoe Hiking, Golden Monkey Tracking, Forest Guided Nature Walks, Batwa cultural Experience or simply relaxing you’ve come to the right place.
Our rooms are well designed, and staying here will offer you a brilliant night. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds in different sizes. The rooms are furnished with chairs and tables among others. We have hot showers too.

We had a lovely clean room with a decent shower and comfortable bed. The car was securely parked on their premises and the breakfast included was decent. The big plus... Read more is the friendly staff who are quick to welcome you back from any visit out of the guesthouse. It's in a nice part of Kisoro which itself isn't massive but anything you would want (UWA, coffeepot, shop) are nearby.

Perfect place for a stay in Kisoro - friendly staff, cozy atmosphere - I travel back and forth to Kisoro relatively often and I've now stayed at Sawa Sawa three times. The staff, including Molly, are all super friendly and helpful, the place... Read more is very clean and nicely decorated, the rooms feel cozy. Breakfast is very good (just clarify in the evening to make sure you've ordered everything that can come with the breakfast), usually included in the price; and always exactly on time. The location is great, just on the edge of town, and quiet at night. The staff can help with activities/arrangements around town. Pretty much perfect!

With a group of 7 people we stayed in this guesthouse. Especially the hosts made a friendly impression on us. We spended 2 nights here and we had dinner and... Read more breakfast every day. The food was of good quality for a good price. The rooms where clean and we had our own bathroom. This guest house is a good place to reach the national parks Bwindi and Mgahinga from. We had a nice stay here and we would like to thank the hosts again!

The rooms have jail like doors as you see on a lot of buildings in Uganda. Not my taste but... Read more ok.
The hot shower was not working and I could even feel the voltage on the showerhead. I told the manager she said she would ficks it. Next day, not ficksed.
We had dinner there once. That was actually really nice.
Breakfast was standard, nothing special.
The people who work there are all very friendly and I wish them all the best. A little extra effort and the place would be nice for the money.

The food was really good and super... Read more fresh. When I was spontaneously added to a gorilla trip at 7 am in the morning, they gave me something to eat and drink and I did not even have to ask for it. Plus, when I came back, they even helped me washing my clothes.
It was also very nice to talk to them. I would definitely stay at Sawasawa again.

Read more amazingly friendly and made us feel so welcome. Julius was able to organise a visit to a local coffee farmer at a really good price, compared to the other tours that our group was 'forced' to take, ours sounded way better and more personal.
The rooms are quite nice and really good value, compared to Rafiki. We had pre-paid for Rafiki through our tour, it was cheap and far nicer to stay here and lose the money we had pre-paid. The others on tour even came to have look, and stayed there.
No Wifi, but cheap internet cafe nearby.
